Since 1988 DJ/Producer/Remixer Golden Boy Mike's love of vinyl records hasn't wavered. From DJ'ing in Chicago as house muisc was breaking to discovering trance after his move to San Diego in 1995 the medium hasn't changed, just the sounds that come from it. Growing up around his father's vinyl collection imbedded a lifelong passion for the format and he still carries that fire today in his DJ performances. From headlining clubs internationally in Mexcio and on both U.S. coasts from Florida-California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and everywhere in between he brings his special blend of uplifting, emotional, and melodic trance to each performance while illustrting the "art of the Dj" for the dance floor.
Having playing on bills alongside other national touring Dj's such as Ben Gold, Xijaro & Pitch, Paipy, Ollie (Warp Brothrs), Micro, Simply Jeff, Mea, Derrick Thompson, DJ Irene, Thee-O, Alkaholics, Speaker Junkies, Evil E, Funky Junction, Jane Vanderbuilt, Dj Keoki, and many others, he has held residencies at all of San Diego's larges clubs and toured to Las Vegas regularly playing at clubs such as Seven, Shimmer Cabaret (Las Vegas Hilton), House of Blues (Mandalay Bay), Club Ra', and Artisan.
Golden Boy Mike's studio work has produced original releases of "Angel's Cry", "Hover", "Miami Nights", and "Imminent Danger" on MJS Records. "Angel's Cry" hit #4 on the tunes4djs.com Trance Chart in it's first week of release.
A highly sought-after remixer by international Billboard charting artists, he has remixed dozens of songs for high level artists such as Kim Cameron and Side FX' "Never" and "Falling Stars" on the Side FX Partners label, "Summertime", "Feels Like Love", and "These Tears" by Raquela for the Raquela Entertainment label, and "War" by Tee Green and "Love Shne a Light" by Steve Etherington for Sobel Nation Records.
"War" charted on the Starfleet Music Pool at #39. His "Unconditional Love" remix for Billboard platinum selling artist KC & The Sunshine Band on Sunshine Sounds charted on the Starfleet Music Pool at #32 and that was followed up by a remix of their "I Get to Love You". He also produced Radio Edits of "Reflections" by Jay Mav and "Can You Feel Me" by Chris Vision for MJS Records. His latest remixes for Sobel Nation Records of Lightyear's cover of "I Got the Music in Me" hit #6 on the Masspoolmp3 Top 50 Dance Chart and #26 on the Top 50 Chart and his remix of Lighyear's cover of the iconic Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round" hit #6 on the Masspoolmp3 Top 50 Dance Chart and #37 on the Dance Chart.
In 2020 he launched his Global Trance Session live stream and radio show, which was quickly syndicated in the U.S. on Sobel Nation Radio, Dance World Radio, and Rainbow Radio in New York, Atmospheric Sounds Radio in Txas, plus internationally at Radio Trance Passion in Europe, and Impulse Radio in the UK. It si also on YouTube, Apple Music Podcasts, Amazon Music Podcasts, Castbox.fm, and Mixcloud, where 26 episodes hit #1 in Trance and the Top 10 on 4 other charts. The show features Golden Boy Mike on vinyl in hour #1 and guests from around the world in hour #2 from countries such as he United States, UK, Greece, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada, and more while attracting listeners and uniting the global trance family in dozens of countries.
